Morakniv presents the new floating knife. A perfect tool for your marine adventure, whether it’s for your fishing trip, while canoeing or working close to water.
The knife that floats thanks to the natural cork handle weighs only 49 grams and has a flexible thin 1.4 mm blade made of stainless steel. It’s lime green color is highly visible in water, making it very easy to locate.
Connect the knife to your belt, backpack or lifevest with the clip on the sheath. It’s also possible to attach it to a button, for example on your working clothes. The highly visible lime green sheath with a smart button let you attach and link several knives from our Craft segment, giving you the opportunity to carry your preferred combination of tools that suits you.

In the beginning Frost-Erik only made knives for use within the factory, but production would soon start to grow. The term Morakniv was already well known at the end of the 1900’s, due to the area’s long tradition of manufacturing. Knives from Mora had made their way to users around the country by travelling tradesmen, or through bartering. With the founding of the factory, production could grow and more and more knives could be delivered across Sweden and the world.
